Very gorgeous and wonderful place to visit. Get the scones with the Devonshire cream! The rose tea is lovely as well
The only place I shop for tea in St. Louis. Their blends are outstanding and their curbside service is always fast and convenient.
I really enjoy the afternoon tea at this lovely tea shop in the Tower Grove area. A visit to the London Tea Room has become an annual Christmas tradition for me. The service is perfect. I love the atmosphere. Best of all, the tea selections and food are spot on! Plan in advance! They book up (just like all the other good restaurants).
The seating is very limited now. The tea is just as good.
Cozy atmosphere to share with friends on a chilly, rainy winter afternoon. Filling and delectable menu items followed up with scrumptious afternoon tea sweets. A nice place to savor the warmth of friendship and tea. Friendly & knowledgeable servers. Simple luncheon menu with a French flair. Traditional scones, shortbreads and cakes. Wide selection of teas. Overall, makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a spot of tea.
I haven’t been inside as it is during the pandemic but they set it on a little table outside to bring home with us and their chai is absolutely PHENOMENAL! We love all of the good flavors in it more on the spicy side but it’s just what we like! We’ve also steeped it about 3 times every time we’ve made tea and it’s still very spicy (after 3 or 4 it loses its spice) but it’s absolutely wonderful and would highly recommend :)
Wonderful Christmas afternoon tea experience, reminds of me of being back in England!
Absolutely delicious pastries, and one of the best tomato soups I have ever had (thick and creamy). Curb-side carry out was easy and quick. Will definitely return, probably often.
A bit pricey but good
We could have given this place a 5 star rating, but the staff was NOT friendly AT ALL! The customer service was VERY poor and the two ladies behind the counter were not welcoming. Our high tea experience was GREAT, and the food was delicious. Our server was helpful in suggesting teas we may like. It was the front counter service that was disappointing. A smile and warm welcome goes a long way.
Jasmine Dragon Tears brewed Gong Fu style was a delightful fall treat.
Spinach and Ricotta filled croissant along with a iced masala chi latte made with oat milk. Just picture perfect! Very delicious! Was a nice afternoon treat!
Love their tea and their selection of of teas, accessories, and gifts!
Our first visit this morning after having it on "The List to Visit". A great place to stop after the Botanical gardens - we were both thirsty and while I had black iced tea, my wife had peach black iced tea. Both were excellent. Courteous staff, as well. We will be back another time when we can sit down and enjoy the quiche!
Wonderful service, tea and scones!!!!!
Caught them on a bad day I guess, took forever to get our drinks, got the wrong drinks, and didn’t feel confident in the ability to fix it because the three customers ahead of us got theirs wrong too.
Fun and tasty
Fantastic tea and lots of tasty food.
So the food was pretty good (we had quiche) and the tea was very good (lavender earl grey) but it took FOREVER to get it. The staff was very disorganized and another customer, while we waited (almost 45 minutes) for our food, said that the employees had thrown her order away accidentally and that she had been waiting a long time too. We got one teacup for two people and ordered milk but didn’t receive it; we had to go back in to the store (we were sitting outside) about five times before we finally got everything we ordered. The employees were very nice but there’s no reason for a small pot of tea and two slices of quiche (already made, just to be warmed up) to take so long to be ready. This is our second time at this place and we think it’s cute and charming, but probably won’t be back soon.

We booked an Afternoon Tea. Such a wonderful respite, during this pandemic. This is more than just going 'out to eat' - it's an experience. Excellent service, excellent tea and excellent food.
I would have given this place five stars except for hearing the staff share their religious views loud enough for customers to hear. I’ll be back because my husband is British and we loved finding the most authentic tea room in the area but others may not be so gracious if they have to listen to the chatter that we hope to escape for an afternoon. Just a nice quiet cup of tea, and an excellent scone, please and thank you :)
Lovely. Service is a bit slow. Worth going out for a Ladies Tea.
It was so comforting to be back at London Tea Room - albeit Covid Compliant, tables distanced, mask wearing. A small price to pay for an enjoyable, very pleasant experience. Same excellent food and lovely tea, same deferential service. I am grateful for the attention to detail and safety here.
A wonderful place and a fantastic pot of tea. My daughter loved the place and a little get away from the day to day.
Everything here was so tasty. Tea amazing. Scones delish
Will be back. Very cute place.
Spinach and Ricotta filled croissant along with a iced masala chi latte made with oat milk. Just picture perfect! Very delicious! Was a nice afternoon treat!
Charming and clever, this welcoming tea room and shop was a perfect place to sit and enjoy time while catching up with a few old friends. The atmosphere is warm and the selection of baked goods and teas was vast and very impressive. I savored every sip of my tea latte and was emotionally moved by the fluffy but dense scone from heaven with jam and clotted cream. The whole experience was uplifting and I enjoyed every minute.
Their afternoon tea was lovely! Truly felt like we were back in London.
My son got the Churchill with blueberry scone. I had a cranberry orange scone. It was all good. The scones are like a moist biscuit. We also shared a filled croissant, so good and flakey. Ask for everything warm.
Very good tea!
Great ? place. Best tomato ? ? in town. Mistake made on my order. Refund promptly given. Thanks!!
I have only gotten carryout loose-leaf tea (never dined in, food looks amazing though). LTR has the highest quality tea, vast assortment, and knowledgeable staff. Our tea lasts us forever and is a reasonable price. We recommend it to everyone
I'll be honest, I didn't expect much of this place at first. When I went inside, my mind was shattered by how splendid the atmosphere was. My girlfriend and I sampled some of their unique teas and pastries and let me say, I am more than impressed! If I could give a six star rating, you bet your bottom I would! It's the epiphany of fine dining and high quality for a reasonable price. 11/10, would go again (If I lived here in St. Louis).
Unique
Always lovely and delightful. A great price for a an afternoon tea! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The food is outstanding.
It was a pretty fun experience trying different types of teas
More than met my high expectations! A wonderful tearoom not to be missed! Go!
Great service, variety, and atmosphere.
Nice. Great teas. But pricy.
Really cute tea room. Nice informative programs. Amazing selection of great teas.
This place has the best blends of loose leaf tea in the city! Try the Naughty Vicar. You won't ever drink another tea blend again. ?? Also, their lemon blueberry cake is delightful!
High tea is the best. Tasty treats, great selection of teas, and good service.
Very quaint place, scones and clotted cream were good. Tea was delicious!
Excellent commitment to the British theme, with very good tea and food. A wonderful place to go to step out of your ordinary world for a time.
Always cozy, especially on cold or dreary days. Great place to meet up with a friend or go read a book!
Delightful teas and food. Wonderful service, but I guess I just expected more of an "experience" with sitting for afternoon tea. Was not really any different from any other cafe experience. Food, while good, is very carb heavy and you kind of get tired of eating it. For then also supposedly being a "relaxing" experience, chairs are terribly uncomfortable. It was fun to try once, but don't see any reason to repeat in the future.
This place is fantastic!!! Extremely authentic and wonderful High Tea!!!
Great place
